3D Pluraview

Pluraview is a brand of autostereoscopic (glasses-free) displays that are designed to provide a 3D viewing experience without the need for special glasses or other equipment. The Pluraview displays use a lenticular lens system to create multiple viewing angles, which allows viewers to see different perspectives of the same image or video.

3D Pluraview refers to a specific Pluraview display that is capable of displaying three-dimensional images and video content. This means that the display is able to create the illusion of depth perception, making objects on the screen appear to be at different distances from the viewer.

The use of 3D Pluraview displays can be beneficial in a variety of industries, such as medicine, engineering, and entertainment, where a more immersive visual experience can improve understanding and engagement.

The History of 3d Pluraview

Pluraview is a relatively new brand of autostereoscopic displays

Pluraview’s history can be traced back to the early 2000s when the company responsible for developing it, SeeFront, was founded in Germany. SeeFront’s initial focus was on developing software for creating 3D images and videos, but the company eventually began developing autostereoscopic displays.

In 2009, SeeFront introduced the Pluraview display at the CeBIT trade fair in Hannover, Germany. The first generation of Pluraview displays had a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and were capable of displaying 3D content without the need for special glasses. The displays used a lenticular lens system that allowed multiple viewing angles, enabling viewers to see different perspectives of the same image or video.

Since then, Pluraview displays have continued to evolve and improve. In 2016, SeeFront introduced the Pluraview 4K, which had a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including engineering, design, and medical imaging.

Today, Pluraview displays are used in a variety of industries, and the technology continues to advance, with new features and capabilities being added regularly.

The 3D PluraView Family – Technical Specs

Suitable for every requirement

For the different requirements for resolution and especially space requirements, the 3D PluraView product family offers three different modesl with two different housings.

The 3D PluraView 2.5 model offers a screen diagonal of 27″ at a resolution of 2.560 x 1.440 pixels. The PluraView 4K visualizes on a screen diagonal of 28″ 3.840 x 2.160 pixels resolution as the top model of the PluraView series. Both models are available in premium housing with integrated DisplayPort 1.2 mirror card.

For less-crowded workplaces, the 22-inch and 24-inch PluraView FHD with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels is available. The compact housing with reduced depth takes a very small desktop space and is ideal for large offices with multiple workstations to room.

The true 3D Display- PluraView monitors from Schneider Digital

If you’re not displaying in 3D you should be

The 3D PluraView from Schneider Digital is the further developed successor to the discontinued beam splitter series from PLANAR and the Nvidia3D replacement. Innovative, reliable technology is the basis for precise, pixel-perfect, stereoscopic image evaluation of the highest quality, even in daylight. The 3D PluraView beam splitter technology provides the full monitor resolution up to 4K / UHD in brilliant brightness thanks to one display per eye. This enables the user to work comfortably and without fatigue in all 3D stereo applications. The new BlackTuner technology of the 3D PluraView supports the user, even in dark image areas, to capture his objects safely. A response time of just 1 ms reduces “ghosting” and blurring.

The new VR PluraView is a passive-display Virtual Reality stereo monitor. As a fully-fledged desktop VR/AR system, it is based on the successful 3D PluraView monitors from Schneider Digital. The tried and tested, flicker-free beam-splitter technology allows the user to work in an intuitive VR environment without becoming tired, even over long periods. Transparent, feather-light polarized glasses allow unrestricted communication with customers and colleagues.

If equipped with a high-tech tracking system, the VR PluraView now allows smooth interaction with 3D stereo content across all 3D axes in X, Y, Z, plus zooming, rotating and tilting – without a mouse! The VR PluraView connects to more than 15 tracking devices and is ideal for head -, hand- or finger-tracking interfaces.
